The Powerpuff Girls and DC's Nubia to Join the MultiVersus Roster in Season 3

The Powerpuff Girls and DC’s Nubia are coming to Warner Bros. Games’ and Player First Games’ free to play platform fighter, MultiVersus.

The Powerpuff Girls will arrive with the launch of Season 3: Sugar, Spice, & Everything Nice, which goes live on September 17.  Nubia, the new Queen of the Amazons, will join the roster sometime later in the season.

A new trailer released with the announcement showcases The Powerpuff Girls trio of Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles as Assassin class characters. Players also get a look at the Rowdyruff Boys and Dynamo Suits variants for The Powerpuff Girls and a “Destroyed” version of the City of Townsville map from the series.

Season 3 will also introduce the Midnight Showing map, a map set in a movie theater themed after the 1984 film, Gremlins. Gremlins characters Gizmo and Stripe were added to the MultiVersus roster in late 2022.

The Matrix villain Agent Smith and Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees villain also joined the MultiVersus roster earlier this year following the game’s relaunch.

MultiVersus is available now on PlayStation 5 and 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The game features full cross play and cross progression support.
