The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition and Thief will be free on Epic Games Store next week

Next week’s free Epic Games Store titles have been confirmed.

As previously leaked, The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition will be free to claim on Epic’s PC marketplace from April 4-11.

So too will Eidos Montréal’s first person stealth-action game Thief, Epic announced on Thursday.

Next week’s free games will replace Islets, which is now free to claim from the Epic Games Store until April 4.

Epic Games held its annual State of Unreal keynote at GDC last week, which featured the reveal of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.

The company also reiterated plans to bring Epic Games Store to mobile later this year, among other announcements.

“EGS will become the first ever game-focused, multi-platform store, and will work across Android, iOS, PC, and macOS,” it said.

“Mobile developers will benefit from the same fair terms on EGS for PC: 88/12 revenue share and the same programs you can leverage to keep 100% of revenue using your own payments for in-app purchases, Epic First Run, and Now On Epic.”

Microsoft’s head of gaming Phil Spencer has said he’d like to make other digital storefronts, like the Epic Games Store, available on Xbox consoles in the future.
