The Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred expansion launches in October

Diablo 4‘s Vessel of Hatred expansion will launch on October 8, 2024.

The Vessel of Hatred expansion is set to continue the story of Neyrelle and the Worldstone.

A new trailer for the expansion, which is viewable below, aired during Sunday’s Xbox Games Showcase.

Initially suggested through a survey shortly after the release of the base game in 2023, Blizzard‘s action RPG has gotten multiple waves of new content through four free seasonal updates thus far, with this being the game’s first premium add-on aside from its cosmetic-focused battle pass and in-game item shop offerings.

Season 4, in particular, came with a massive loot-related rework that was billed as its “biggest gameplay update yet.”

Diablo 4 was the first Activision Blizzard title to arrive as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription plan after the Microsoft buyout of the company earlier this year.
