Tekken 8 Confirms More Fixes Coming in the Next Update

Tekken 8 developers have announced a wave of fixes will be coming in the game's next update that address several key issues affecting the game. These fixes address a variety of issues currently affecting Tekken 8 gameplay, ranging from animation distance and length, hitboxes, and move sets, as well as balancing changes for several characters.

Tekken 8 is the newest entry in the legendary Tekken fighting game series, and acts as the direct sequel to Tekken 7, which was released over nine years ago. Tekken 8 launched with a total of 32 playable characters, 29 of which have made at least one appearance in previous games throughout the series. Tekken 8 is both a technical and graphical marvel, offering longtime fans and newcomers alike something to enjoy. However, several issues have been plaguing online play, with developers confirming changes are finally on the way.

On the official TEKKEN_project Twitter account, the Tekken 8 developers announced that the team is currently working on fixing six main issues currently affecting the game, which will be addressed with in an upcoming update. The developers have maintained consistent communication with the game's dedicated community, going as far as to explain why they included an in-game item shop in Tekken 8. In the short amount of time Tekken 8 has been available, the game has received several updates and balancing changes already, with the developers announcing a new wave of fixes are now being worked on.

These new changes seek to improve Tekken 8's already impressive and satisfying gameplay even further. The major issues being worked on include changes to the back dash mechanic, collision and hitboxes, as well as changes to the iconic Tekken character Eddy Gordo, who is offered as part of Tekken 8's Playable Character Year 1 Pass. Six core issues will be addressed as part of this Patch 1.03.01., all of which revolve around unintended character behaviors.

Developers hope to strengthen Tekken 8's gameplay even further
