Stop Wasting Space With Farms In Palworld & Do This Instead (While You Still Can)

Given the limitations of base size in , players should take advantage of this newly found farm placement trick while they still can. Farm plots are a crucial part of the game regarding getting high-quality food and Cake for breeding. Despite their usefulness, farm plots are rather large and can take up an immense part of the base. Even when players get the opportunity to establish more bases, other buildings/needs should take priority over farming, leaving players in a tough situation.

Currently, farming in is limited to four crops; Berries, Wheat, Tomatoes, and Lettuce. Berries are helpful early-game food but can be used throughout the game if players don't care about keeping Pal Sanity at max. Wheat, acquired with 's Wheat Seeds, is needed for Cakes, while Tomatoes and Lettuce are used for the highest quality food that can provide buffs to players or Pals when eaten. While four types of seeds may seem lackluster at first, with the amount of other resources gathered in the game, it turns out to be a fair number for now.

Thanks to Reddit user MaleficentPhysics268, people now have a new way to farm while saving space for other things in the base. Though the trick can be a bit hard to learn at first, it will lead to great results. First, build a wooden bar stool in the area where the plots are going, followed by the first farm plot going on top of the stool. After the plot is in place, destroy the stool, then replace it with a rubber tire. The second plot will then go on top of the tire but will still be below the first plot.

It is important to remember to leave at least part of the second plot exposed so it can still be accessed by Pals or players. Once that plot is placed, remove the tire and place the third plot. This plot also needs to be exposed enough so that it can be accessed by the player or Pal. Once that is done, players will now have a three-plot staircase that can be duplicated around the base.
