Stellar Blade Features Cameo From a Veteran Game Designer

Stellar Blade developer Shift Up has announced that the highly rated PS5 exclusive title stars Jake Song, a veteran game designer, in a cameo appearance. Song, whose digital model appears in Stellar Blade, is a leading name behind one of the biggest games in Shift Up's home country.

Last month, Stellar Blade hit the shelves to an impressively positive reception among fans and critics alike. The action-adventure game received a high Metacritic rating of 82 and became one of the highest-rated PS5 titles. Most recently, it has attracted the interest of fans over an in-game cameo that features one of the major personalities in gaming.

The fantasy-themed MMORPG series from NCSoft kicked off way back in 1998, spearheaded by game designer Jake Song, and has spawned multiple entries since then. Thanks to the immense success of Lineage, Song holds a special place in the Korean game industry.
