Starfield Reveals Patch Notes for Big May 2024 Update

Bethesda has pulled the curtain back on the big Starfield update that's coming on May 15. Since launch, Bethesda has released multiple updates for Starfield to address fan feedback and squash lingering bugs. However, the next update for the game may very well be the biggest to date, implementing significant improvements that will benefit those playing specifically on Xbox as well as PC players.

Instead of simply dropping patch notes for the new Starfield update, Bethesda has also released a 5-minute video of the developers talking about what fans can expect from the update as well as what's coming a little further down the line. The Starfield May update seems to be mostly focused on quality-of-life updates that should result in a smoother experience for all players. Those on Xbox specifically can look forward to new display options upon downloading the update. After downloading the new update, Starfield Xbox players will be able to choose between 30, 40, 60, or uncapped frame rate on VRR displays, with the option of 30 or 60 on non-VRR displays. Players will also have the option to choose between prioritizing Visuals or Performance.

Bethesda didn't just reveal what's coming in the Starfield May update. It also teased fans with what they can expect from future updates as well. Notably, the video gave fans their first
