Stardew Valley Player Discovers Pelican Town's Most Generous Gift Giver (& It's Not Who You Think)

The Feast of the Winter Star can be a mixed bag for players, especially when it comes to the event's signature «Secret Santa» showpiece but sometimes, one thoughtful individual can make the holiday incredibly special. The citizens of Pelican Town can be a fussy bunch when it comes to gifts but Feast of the Winter Star is the one time of year the tables turn as the Farmer can receive an in-person present. Many of the items gained through the Secret Santa process aren't anything to write home about, but one character goes out of their way.

Posted to Reddit by user WonderfulFroyo4889, the player shares their excitement at having Willy as their Secret Santa given that the local fisherman gifts them with a whopping 25 Warp Totem: Beach.

The item itself is incredibly useful given how it eliminates a significant amount of time spent travelling from the farm to the coast but it's also a valuable commodity. Not only does it require Foraging Level 6 to craft, but it also requires players to spend a Hardwood, a Coral, and two Seedweed to make it, which can be pricy when considering the scarcity of the first item.

With over 30+ NPC villagers in Stardew Valley, it's easy to find the characters you vibe with, and the ones that you want to constantly bring gifts to (I'm looking at you Kent). On the flip side, there always seem to be the villagers you try to avoid at The Dance Of The Moonlight Jellies. Whether it's based on personality, preferred gifts, or even their fashion sense, there's bound to be one that just gets on your nerves.
