Elden Ring Player One Shots Erdtree Boss With Perfectly Timed Abilities, But Not How You Think

The final boss in is enough to push even the most hardened players to their limits but one user demonstrated an efficient way to big the massive foe down with incredibly precise timing. Shortly after FromSoftware dropped the expansion, the community rushed to figure out if there was a way to kill the DLC's final boss in a single, massive hit. While the challenge is undoubtedly extreme, with the correct mixture of buffs, it's entirely possible granted users have enough time to capitalize on their increased strength.

Posted to Reddit by Wargasm_Actual, the player shows off their keen understanding of 's consumables by using the right amount of items to grant them enough power to fell Radahn, Consort of Miquella in a single hit just a split second before their effects wear off.

The timing is the key given that without the buffs presumably gained by items like Lord of Blood's Exultation, St. Trina's Smiles, and Kindred Rot's Exultation to name a few, the hit wouldn't have killed Radahan. It's undoubtedly a daring play, one made possible by the kind of timing reserved for parries and dodges.

The Shadow Of The Erdtree Expansion brought forth many new weapons to Elden Ring, many of which have become the game's strongest armaments.

When originally launched, the DLC was accused by even the most ardent FromSoftware fans as being too difficult with many insisting that the introduction of the Scadutree Blessing system artificially inflated the challenge. Of course, those early complaints quickly died down as users adjusted to the expansion's demands, eventually leading to heroic moments like smiting Radahn in a single hit. Wargasm_Actual isn't the only player to have accomplished such a feat but's still impressive to see that they did it on New Game+ 7.

As for players struggling to overcome the reborn Radahn, it would take weeks of practice to lock down the timing necessary to match Wargasm_Actual's achievement but there are some simpler strategies to make the fight easier.
