Star Wars Outlaws: How To Escape Death Troopers (Clear Wanted Status)

The criminal lifestyle comes with the risk of provoking Imperial Death Troopers to hunt Kay Vess on the planets of To be a rebel is to anger the empire in the universe. In fact, drawing their attention means Kay is doing something right. However, the presence of Death Troopers around the galaxy won’t make boosting your faction status any easier until Kay’s wanted status is cleared.

There are six wanted levels in total, with each level increasing the threat of imperial intervention. Each wanted level scales to determine how many credits Kay stands to lose if killed or arrested. Failing to escape the empire quickly clears wanted levels at a cost, but it’s more fun to embrace the outlaw code. While Manhunt Death Troopers offer a significant challenge, the opportunity to save your life and credits is worth braving the fight. Play the renegade role to earn an achievement.

If you’ve played Rockstar Games like GTA V or Red Dead Redemption II, the wanted level system in will feel familiar. Behaving outside societal norms, like being caught thieving, trespassing, or murdering, will increase the wanted level.

There is a wanted level tracker displayed on the UI in the form of an Empire logo. To trigger the Manhunt Wanted Level, which forces the Empire to send Death Troopers on a Manhunt to Kay’s location, you should fill the meter around the wanted level icon. The trick is to avoid capture or death until these tough enemies arrive on your planet.

Getting your reputation settled with the various factions is crucial for traversing the world easier and getting the best gear in Star Wars Outlaws.

On land or in space, once Manhunt status is achieved, fast travel is prohibited. This means Kay needs to find a way to clear her status. Depending on the wanted level, and the Empire’s attempts to put a stop to your outlaw activity, there are a few ways to clear the criminal record and save your credits.
