Star Wars Outlaws Has Been Rated in Korea; Receives 19+ Rating Likely Due to Poker-Like Mini Game

The upcoming Star Wars Outlaws from Massive Entertainment has been rated in Korea.

The Korean Rating Board has just rated the upcoming Star Wars title with a "19+" rating, and this is likely due to the game including a poker-like mini-game as seen in the game's first trailer. For the sake of completeness, we've included the trailer below as well. The rating mentions "Realistic simulation of speculative behavior" as well as "a mini-game with content of in-game betting and dividends."

Risk it all as Kay Vess, an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life, along with her companion Nix. Fight, steal, and outwit your way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates as you join the galaxy’s most wanted."

In general, games receive their age ratings close to release, which might suggest that a release date announcement is imminent. On the other hand, there have been various cases where games receive a rating long before an actual release date. As covered last week, the title will support NVIDIA RTX Direct Illumination and RTGI on PC. Here's what the development team said about the support for NVIDIA's tech:

"Here at Massive Entertainment, worldbuilding is a part of our DNA, and what better way to showcase our craft than creating the first-ever open world Star Wars game. Filled with distinct locations across the galaxy’s outer rim, both
