Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is now available on PC

Electronic Arts has released the PC version of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes.

Following a closed beta test, the game is now available to all players in early access on the EA App.

“We wanted to extend a big thank you to those who joined us during the closed beta and shared their feedback to make the galaxy a better place to engage in battles with some of our favourite Star Wars heroes,” reads a message from the development team at EA studio Capital Games.

“To those of you who have shown interest in joining the PC Client, now is your time! We look forward to more of you experiencing the PC Client and can’t wait to hear what you think.”

EA originally released Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes for mobile in November 2015, and it has continued to enjoy a following in the eight and a half years since.

While players have used various methods like Android emulation to play the game on PC, earlier this year EA confirmed plans for an official PC port.

The PC version of the game features options for higher resolutions, supports antialiasing and doubles the framerate to 60fps.

Its playable with keyboard and mouse, with support for keybinds (but no controller support yet).

Mobile players can also carry over their progress by linking their mobile account to their EA account, and the game supports cross-save, enabling players to jump between platforms.
