Splatoon 3’s Side Order DLC launches next month

Nintendo has announced a release date for Splatoon 3’s Side Order DLC.

Launching on February 22, the “new single-player campaign” is the second and final piece of content included in the game’s $24.99 / £22.49 Expansion Pass.

“As Agent 8, you wake up to discover Inkopolis Square has been drained of color and its residents have gone missing. Looming over the city is the ominous Spire of Order,” reads an official description of the DLC.

“Alongside a drone who claims to be Off the Hook member Pearl, Agent 8 must fight off waves of enemies in floor after floor of challenges on their way to the top of the Spire and learn its secrets.

“Use color chips to boost your abilities in this experience that’s designed to be replayed over and over.

The first wave of DLC included in the Expansion Pass, Inkopolis, was released last year. It lets players “relive a functional version of Inkopolis from the original Splatoon”, according to Nintendo.

The company announced today that it will be making Zelda and Splatoon concerts available on its YouTube channel next month.

The concerts were supposed to be part of Nintendo Live 2024 events that were recently cancelled over safety concerns.
