The next free Epic Games Store title has been revealed

The Epic Games Store’s next free title has been announced.

Dakar Desert Rally will be free to claim on Epic’s PC marketplace from February 15-22.

“Dakar Desert Rally is the biggest off-road rally racing adventure ever developed,” according to developer and publisher Saber Interactive.

“Experience the speed and excitement of the largest rally race on the planet, featuring a wide variety of licensed vehicles from motorcycles, cars, trucks, quads and SSVs.”

Dakar Desert Rally will replace Doki Doki Literature Club Plus and Lost Castle, which are now free to claim until February 15.

“Write poems for your crush and experience the terror of school romance in this critically-acclaimed psychological horror story,” reads the Epic Games Store listing for Doki Doki Literature Club Plus.

“Lost Castle is an action RPG beat’em up with roguelike elements and randomized dungeons for up to four players online and local!”

Disney announced on Wednesday that it’s investing $1.5 billion to acquire an equity stake in Epic Games.

It was also revealed that the companies have teamed up to build a new universe connected to Fortnite that will let users “play, watch, shop and engage” with content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and Avatar.
