Some PlayStation Fans Are Not Happy About the Ghost of Tsushima PC Port

Some angry PlayStation fans have expressed their frustration about how unhappy they are with the Ghost of Tsushima PC Port. The Steam discussions section of the Ghost of Tsushima PC version is rife with discontent, and some have directed their grievances toward Nixxes Software, the developers assisting Sony's studios with porting their first-party games to PC.

Since 2020, PlayStation has been porting some first-party games from PlayStation Studios to PC. The first was Horizon Zero Dawn in August 2020, followed by Days Gone from Bend Studios in May 2021. Afterward, the acclaimed God of War and Marvel's Spider-Man were ported in January and August 2022. Most of these ports were done with the help of Nixxes Software, a studio that Sony acquired in 2021. Ghost of Tsushima is the next first-party Sony game coming to PC, though this news hasn't come without its share of backlash.

In the images, fans can be seen complaining about PC gamers, accusing them of being the cause behind Sony's decision to port more first-party games due to their incessant requests. Others criticize the Japanese publisher itself. One specific user expressed feeling betrayed and is attempting to spearhead a campaign to prevent other players from buyingGhost of Tsushima on Steam, hoping to make Sony regret its decision to port first-party games to PC. This thread has garnered over 500 comments, though most are «jester» emotes.

Other frustrated PlayStation fans can be found on the official PlayStation blog that announced the news about Ghost of Tsushima. A few rare thank Nixxes, claiming the company enables PC players to enjoy these games. On the other hand, others accuse Nixxes of being the worst studio in PlayStation Studios, wishing it had been shut down instead of PlayStation London Studios, which underwent layoffs alongside 900 other employees in the company.
