Players can now use an in-game dating app — Cupid's Corner, plan detailed dates with their matches, discover each other's Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs, and even become professional matchmakers.

And, as shared in a Reddit post by Eggs-Eggs, in order to promote the new Expansion Pack, ' own Don Lothario has officially come to Tinder. Users of the dating app may catch sight of the smooth talker while browsing their potential matches. If they do give Don Lothario a like, they'll match immediately — of course, he swipes right on everyone. He'll even message them to say "" ("" in Simlish) before hitting them with a " Don follows that move by inviting them over for a romantic night under the stars in his very own hot tub, after which the message simply links to the pre-order page for the expansion.

As the title of the original Reddit post admits, this kind of advertising usually provokes little more than an eye roll and a leftward swipe. Other companies, brands, and works of popular culture have used fake Tinder profiles as an advertising method before, and it's usually just intrusive, an obstacle to real-life romance. But this particular ad is brilliantly executed, being a perfect marriage of dating app jargon and -style humor. Between the classic tropes of fishing pictures and vague hints at a fear of commitment, the fake profile and message could easily pass for a real (if abysmal) Tinder bio. It's absolutely in character for Don Lothario, and, admittedly, very funny.
