Satisfactory: How To Build The Space Elevator

The developers at Coffee Stain Studios recently launched a long-awaited update to . After five years of early access, version 1.0 patch notes indicate massive quality-of-life changes, including substantial bug fixes and updates to the Awesome Shop. But as much as things change, they stay the same. New players will still need to craft the space elevator to achieve milestones and unlock higher tiers.

Whether you’re a new FICSIT employee landing on Massage-2(AB) for the first time, or a seasoned veteran looking to start a fresh adventure, assembling the space elevator will be a priority. In, the name of the game is resource harvesting. Connecting a space elevator to the orbital platform accelerates Project Assembly, a milestone phase necessary to advance factory development on the planet.

Before building the space elevator, players should complete Milestone: Part Assembly. Otherwise, the space elevator will be useless. This Tier 2 phase leads to upgrading the assembler. When the necessary resources have been collected, the assembler will be able to craft more complex items, which is crucial for Project Assembly.

Ziplines in Satisfactory can be unlocked early through the MAM Caterium Research tree, and players can use them to travel using Power Lines.

Collect cobbler, steel, screws, and plates and launch the resources in the Milestone Tracker to upgrade the assembler. ADA will tell the FICSIT employee that the first project part needed for Tier 3, smart plating, can now be made immediately with the assembler.
