Pokémon TCG's January 2025 Set Already Sounds Like The Best Cards Of The Year

The upcoming set planned for a January 2025 release may set the bar high for best cards of the year. The card sets have excited fans with the return of cards and bringing in Paldea's Terastal phenomenon to create stunning and powerful additions. Starting the new year out with a bang, one feature of an upcoming English set is sure to please all fans of the franchise, appealing to TCG players and collectors alike.

According to PokéBeach, a special 8.5English set is to be released and couldfeature products including Elite Trainer Boxes, Poster Collection, Binder Collection, and Tech Sticker Collections alongside possible ex Boxes and Mini Tins. The set could feature cards from the upcoming Japanese set «ex Starter Deck Generations», containing cards of Legendary Pokémon from across the franchise's history.

However, the most appealing part about this upcoming set is the other Pokémon that may also be displayed at the forefront, reminding players and collectors of a recent fan-favorite set. The January 2025 set could feature the Eeveelutions as ex cards, giving fans the Terastalized forms of these popular and forever beloved Pokémon.

The English set will contain cards from the upcoming Japanese set «Terastal Festival» set which is planned to be released on December 6th, 2024. Having a set headlined by the Tera forms of the Eeveelutions is sure to contain beautiful card art and exciting moves for battle gameplay. The 8.5 English set will be released on January 17th, 2025.
