Activision has released the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 launch trailer

Activision has released the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launch trailer, which is viewable below.

Featuring campaign, multiplayer and Zombies modes, the new Call of Duty game will be released on October 25, 2024.

It will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Black Ops 6 will also be the first Call of Duty title to launch on Game Pass on day one.

“While the Gulf War commands the global spotlight, a shadowy clandestine force has infiltrated the highest levels of the CIA, branding anyone who resists as traitors,” reads an official description of the campaign.

“Exiled from their agency and country that once hailed them as heroes, Black Ops veteran Frank Woods and his team find themselves hunted by the military machine that created them.”

Activision recently confirmed that it won’t offer early access to the Black Ops 6 campaign, as has been the case for recent series entries.

At launch, Black Ops 6 will have 16 multiplayer maps, including 12 core 6v6 maps and four Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6. Additionally, it features the return of a more traditional Prestige system.

The game also introduces a new system called Omnimovement, which lets players utilise movement mechanics like running, sliding, jumping and diving in any direction.

Black Ops 6 will feature the return of round-based Zombies, with two brand-new maps available at launch. Notably, for the first time players can choose to save solo Zombies games at any time as long as they have full health.
