There is still plenty of development to go for the title, and according to the same source, Gen 10 won't be out until 2026 for the 30th anniversary. This also means that the biggest release in 2024 will be and won't be ready for Switch 2's launch.

Gen 10's launch for 2026 means that it will break 's release cycle in which a mainline title is released every three years.
