Pokemon Fan Designs Incredible New Regional Variants and Evolutions

A talented artist and Pokemon fan recently showed off a collection of impressive regional variants and evolutions they designed for popular creatures like Xatu, Hoodlay, and Skitty. Starting with 2016’s Pokemon Sun and Moon, new Pokemon generations have been introducing region-specific alternate versions of existing Pokemon that reimagine them as a different elemental type. SayuriKoopa has designed plenty of other creative Pokemon regional variants in the past, including a Water/Flying version of the classic Gen 1 Pokemon Ponyta, a haunting Grass/Ghost variant of Torterra that replaces the tree on its back with a graveyard, and a Fairy/Fighting version of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Tinkaton that sees it trade its signature hammer for a gigantic boxing glove.
