The PlayStation 5 Pro reveal finally happening this week is not surprising for all those who have been following all the rumors regarding the soon-to-be-announced system, as a well-known insider proved to be correct once again by confirming that the reveal would be happening early this week. The fact that the reveal was also around the corner was essentially confirmed by another well-known insider who managed to get an early look at the system's packaging late last month, providing a sketch that confirmed how the new system's design won't be that much different from that of the base model.

The PlayStation 5 Pro is said to be a considerable step up from the base model. It features a 45% more powerful GPU compared to the base model, which will offer up to 4x ray tracing performance. In addition, the console will support the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution upscaler, which will make the system feel 100% faster than the base model.
