That rumor kicked into second gear when Exputer posted photos it says it received of the device. The leaked images show a standard Xbox Series X with a white casing. The design is about the same, but there’s one key difference: It doesn’t have a disk drive. If the rumors are proven true, that’ll be the system’s selling point, potentially putting it at a lower price point than the current Series X.
Back in 2020 IllFonic released Predator: Hunting Grounds, another take on the asymmetric multiplayer formula they’ve employed with titles like Friday the 13th: The Game and Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. Somewhat oddly, the game was published by Sony as a PC and PS4 console exclusive. Despite the big-name publisher, the game kind of came and went without too much fanfare, but now it seems IllFonic is preparing the revive the game on current-gen platforms.
Microsoft may be working on a white version of its current all-digital Xbox Series X console, according to leaked images reported by Exputerand documents seen by The Verge. The design appears to be identical to the current black disc version (sans the disc slot) and has the same «robot white» finish as the white Xbox Series S. If accurate, the news may mean delays to a rumored Xbox Series X refresh that carriesas a different design.
