This year’s Summer Game Fest show may not have had as many big reveals as some past iterations (although there was a notable reveal or two) but the show did culminate in a pretty impressive trailer for the upcoming PS5 console exclusive Phantom Blade Zero. The trailer features some eye-popping Unreal Engine 5 visuals, big, bad bosses, and some downright-frantic action – the swords are flying fast and furious in the one. We’ve known since the launch of Alan Wake 2 that Remedy was preparing two pieces of story DLC for the game, but now we’ve finally laid eyes on the first expansion. Alan Wake 2: Night Springs focuses on the in-universe late night TV show Night Springs, essentially the Alan Wake version of The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, and other similar shows.

Microsoft has revealed the titles they’ll be adding to Xbox Game Pass on PC and consoles in early June and it’s a good lineup for fans of retro RPGs and horror games. The Octopath Traveler games, originally only available on PC, PlayStation, and Switch, both arrive on Xbox and Game Pass. Meanwhile, subscribers can also look forward to new-release horror game Still Wakes the Deep and The Callisto Protocol.
