Halo 1 Remaster Rumored, Possibly Multiplatform; Fable, Gears, Others not PS5 Bound (Yet)

Microsoft will be presenting their big Xbox Games Showcase this weekend, and there’s plenty of speculation about what might be next for Team Green. Will more games make their way to rival hardware after games like Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush went multiplatform earlier this year? And what’s going on troubled tentpole franchises like Halo?

Games that are apparently not under consideration are the next Gears, Fable, and South of Midnight.

As you can perhaps tell, it seems like a lot of things are up in the air at Team Green – while games like Fable and Gears aren't being considered for multiplatform releases now, if Halo can jump, anything can I reckon.

The Xbox Games Showcase comes your way on Sunday (June 9) at 10am PT. As previously rumored, we might also see some hints about future Xbox hardware, including a possible
