Errors such as this are not particularly rare with new multiplayer releases, but it can be frustrating that the error code itself doesn't offer much of an explanation, nor any troubleshooting advice.

's "" error usually occurs when trying to load into a save game, on a world previously created. It appears to happen more frequently for Xbox players, though it is possible to occur on PC, 's only other platform, as well. Luckily, the most common fix is relatively simple, as the error message typically appears when attempting to load a world on an outdated version of the game client.

The most common reason players receive this error is because a new update for the game is available, but has not yet been downloaded and installed. Multiplayer games require players to be on the game's latest version, so an outdated game client will prevent connectivity to the servers. Oddly, will let players create a new world while getting the "" error, but existing saves won't be playable. If is fully updated and the error still occurs, it may be a number of other issues, including the game's server's being down, or a fault in the player's own internet connection.
