Palworld: How to Get (& Use) Wheat Seeds

Wheat Seeds are needed to grow wheat in , which is an important food item you can use to create cakes for Pal breeding. As such, Wheat Plantations are integral places on the Ranch for anyone looking to expand their base and feed their hungry Pals. Wheat Seeds may be a fairly common resource, but it's unclear where to farm this material when starting the game.

You need at least three Wheat Seeds to build a Wheat Plantation, a place where you can grow Wheat plants constantly once you get it up and running. You shouldn't need many seeds after the first few unless you destroy the plantation while trying to rebuild your base. Remember to reserve some space for a Wheat Plantation on your base as you go out into the world to collect the seeds.

Random chests have Wheat Seeds in, but you may also find this item as a loot drop from certain Pals in the wild and for sale at different vendors' shops. Chests respawn randomly and offer various rewards for exploring the open-world. This is an easy method to find one or two seeds during your travels between Great Eagle statues as you try to reach new areas.

The Pals Dinossom, Flopie, Cinnamoth, Robinquill, and Bristla all drop Wheat Seeds when they get knocked out. You could also capture these Pals with Pal Spheres to obtain seeds once a creature has been added to your Paldeck. Sinister players can even maximize the amount of seeds they harvest by using a Meat Cleaver on a knocked-out Pal to butcher it for more items.

A couple of Dinossom Pals can be found near the Plateau of Beginnings Fast Travel point on your map, with each appearing around Level 15.

Some merchants sell Wheat Seeds as well, including the Wandering Merchant within the Small Settlement area. Unlike 's rarer items like Pal Fluid or Sulphur, you can just spend Gold to get the seeds you want. It costs 100 Gold per Wheat Seed, but you could spend even more money to buy a Wheat plant right away without having to grow it from scratch back at your plantation.
