One The Last Of Us Actor Probably Won't Return In Season 2

An actor from The Last of Us still hopes for a cameo in the highly anticipated second season of the HBO series, despite his character’s potential death.

In The Last of Us season 1 of the highly-acclaimed TV series, Josh Brener was seen playing the role of Murray, the fascinating host of the talk show where viewers get to learn about a fungus being as dangerous as a virus. The scene indirectly hinted toward The Last of Us' global pandemic that would begin in 2003. While promoting his latest movie Cold Wallet at SXSW, the actor told Deadline that he can make a comeback in The Last of Us season 2 through re-animation. He said, “If everyone can become re-animated, it doesn’t matter how dead his body is!”However, the actor also clarified that series co-creator Craig Mazin has already told his wife that Murray won’t be a part of The Last of Us season 2. As per several reports, the episodes in the upcoming edition of the HBO series will be set around six decades after the death of Murray. As a result, the only way to bring him back is to use flashback sequences.Production on The Last of Us season 2 has already commenced. HBO renewed the series in January 2023, shortly after the premiere of its first episode, thanks to its immense popularity and critical acclaim. Initially, people were skeptical that the makers would be able to condense the entire first game into nine episodes. However, the series went on to enthrall fans with its epic storytelling, gritty performances, and haunting
