One OP Palworld Pal Just Got Even More Powerful

The world of features a creature for just about every purpose, but when stacking everything up, some Pals just end up being more useful than others. Since the game is only at the start of its early access period, the passage of time could definitely provide an opportunity to tweak the balance to even out the worst disparities. One recent change, however, has the opposite effect of making a Pal that was already great better than ever before.

Part of the complexity in finding the right balance for has to do with balancing Pals across levels and buffs. Although a Pal might seem weak at the start, there's always the possibility that it could end up being exceptionally effective with the right resources. The problem lies in the fact that many players will discount a Pal if it initially appears to be weak, as it usually isn't particularly hard to find another that can do the job better for the time being. This is fine as a temporary solution, but it can lead to great Pals being overlooked in the long run.

Patch v0.1.5.0 for adjusted Digtoise, significantly increasing the mining power that the Pal gains from its partner skill, as mentioned in the patch notes on the official Twitter account. This can come as a relief for many who were previously underwhelmed by Digtoise's performance, but anyone who was already maximizing Digtoise's capabilities will probably be especially excited about what they can now do with the Pal. Although a Digtoise isn't the best in the game at mining, showing it the right love and care has always had the potential to make it a star.

The thing that sets Digtoise apart is the partner skill Drill Crusher, which increases its efficiency when mining ores. Drill Crusher is notable because it's affected by work speed bonuses, which typically only make Pals mine faster when working the Stone Pit.
