Official Last Epoch 1.0 Overview Video Breaks Down all the Major Additions and Changes For Today's Launch.

Last Epoch, the upcoming action RPG developed by Eleventh Hour Games, has been in Early Access since 2019 and is set for its 1.0 launch today. The studio has published a new video giving players a breakdown of all the key additions in the 1.0 patch notes, including Item Factions, offline mode, controller support, visual upgrades, and new Rogue and Acolyte masteries.

The new masteries are Warlock (Acolyte) and Falconer (Rogue). These are unlocked once their respective base classes have been capped out. The Warlock assails its foes with cursed magic and is capable of beating its foes with the spines of slain enemies. Pretty gruesome. The Falconer, on the other hand, is a nimble rogue who, as you might imagine, is joined in battle by its avian companion.

Players can also choose to align with the Circle of Fortune or Merchant’s Guild in a system fairly unique to Last Epoch called Item Factions. This system is meant to allow players to tailor loot acquisition to their own personal style. Some players love to hunt their own loot (Circle of Fortune) and others prefer to trade (Merchant’s Guild) with each faction conferring benefits fitting both styles of play.
