Manli Rejects RMA For "Melted" NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, Says Its Caused By User

We are well aware of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU burning fiasco that emerged with the 12VHPWR connector. The troublesome experiences faced by consumers spread across the internet like wildfire, and to capitalize on the situation, third-party solutions, such as those from CableMod, came into the equation. Still, they, too, became victims of burning incidents. This continued for months and users still experience 12VHPWR connectors burning out despite taking extra caution when installing the plug.

At Quasarzone's Forum, an individual reports that he bought a Manli GeForce RTX 4090 that came 12VHPWR GPU connector, and he was told to use the GPU with included connectors or else warranty services wouldn't be entertained.

Being a graphic designer, the user disclosed that he was well into running multiple engines on his computer, but unfortunately, his graphics card didn't give the desired performance. The Manli GeForce RTX 4090 GPU operated at just 35% of the total load rate when playing Genshin Impact on maxed-out 4K settings, and even during his gameplay, the monitor screen blacked out multiple times.

Being fed up, the user approached a distributor of NVIDIA's AIB partner, but to his surprise, they didn't entertain him. He was notified that his GPU's connector was burnt out, but the distributor refused his RMA request despite that. The user claims to adhere to all manual instructions on mounting the power connector. However, his request was still denied, which was a moment of massive frustration for him.

Repair shops such as Northridge Fix are reportedly fixing several hundred NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPUs which have endured similar cases of 12VHPWR malfunctions.
