NVIDIA Launches F1 24, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Game Ready Driver While DLSS Technology Continues to Spread

NVIDIA has released a new Game Ready driver (version 555.85) today, optimized for the upcoming launch of F1 24. As Codemasters told Wccftech in our exclusive interview on the racing game, on its launch day (May 28), F1 24 will support DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation, DLAA, Reflex, and ray tracing with the new Ray Traced Dynamic Diffuse Global Illumination that will reportedly improve the light response in shaded areas.

The Game Ready driver is also optimized for Senua's Saga: Hellblade II (out today with DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation, DLAA, and Reflex) and Serum, a survival adventure game out in two days on Steam Early Access with DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation, DLAA, and Reflex. According to NVIDIA, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II can have its performance tripled with the combination of DLSS Super Resolution set to Performance mode and Frame Generation. At 4K and max settings, the RTX 4090 nearly runs at an average of 148 frames per second, while the RTX 4080 SUPER is almost at 120 FPS, and the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER surpasses 103 FPS.

As for Serum, the game gets a 2.6x performance bump with DLSS Super Resolution in Performance Mode and Frame Generation enabled, according to NVIDIA tests. The RTX 4090 runs at over 132 frames per second on average.

These are just some of the games that recently launched with or will soon add NVIDIA technologies. Others include Star Citizen, which recently added DLSS Super Resolution with the Alpha 3.23 update; Wuthering Waves, the free-to-play Genshin Impact-like game, out tomorrow with DLSS Super Resolution support; Ships at Sea, a ship simulation game out tomorrow on Steam Early Access with DLSS Super Resolution support; Moreover, the free-to-play competitive shooter Tom Clancy's XDefiant is out today with Reflex support, and NVIDIA promises an up to 58% reduction in system latency.
