New Trailer and Early Access Roadmap Released for GreedFall II: The Dying World

GreedFall 2: The Dying World publisher Nacon and developer Spiders have released a new trailer for the game along with new key art and an Early Access roadmap.

The trailer is titled “Doneigada,” which translates to “Sages” in Yecht Fradi, the native language of Teer Fradee, the island home of GreedFall 2’s protagonist. Hailing from a small lakeside village on the island the player is tasked by Mev, its high priestess, to undertake an initiation ritual to become a Doniegad or Sage. Teer Fradee’s Sages are entrusted with protecting its people and lands and the island is in desperate need of a new Sage to fight back against foreign colonizers who have made a devastating impact on the island’s environment.

Players can choose how they wish to fight back in the game. Sometimes that may involve diplomacy, but force may be necessary as well. The new trailer shows off the game’s combat system mechanics, which allow for the individual control of one’s companions, and even the ability to tactical pause and plan out next steps.

GreedFall 2’s Early Access roadmap reveals plans to release the first chapters of the main quest in Summer 2024 as well as the game’s first companions. Later updates, currently undated, will include everything from new regions, new companions, and more.

GreedFall 2 enters Early Access on PC this Summer and is set for release on the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2025.
