Minecraft: Mace Crafting Recipe (& Stats)

The Mace is a new weapon added to after the update, giving you a new crafting recipe for another tool to fight enemy mobs. This tool has stats designed to deal heavy damage to targets after your character falls from certain heights. To create this item, you'll have to gather several new materials that were also added as a part of the current update.

Everything new in the 1.21 update includes not just the Mace, but a variety of new locations that you may have to visit to find materials used to make the weapon. Never-before-seen mobs roam Trial Chambers, or challenging dungeons that have a chance to spawn in a generated world. Similar to Villages or Ruins, these Chambers appear randomly for you to discover as you venture out on various expeditions for resources.

The Bedrock Edition of Minecraft's 1.20 update has plenty of gorgeous world seeds that could give you one of your best open-world sandbox experiences.

The only way to make a Mace in is to combine one Breeze Rod item with one Heavy Core. When placing these two items in a Crafting Table grid, place the Breeze Rod in the middle and put the Heavy Core in the middle spot in the top row to produce a Mace. This item has 500 Durability, meaning it will eventually break like other weapons and tools your character can use.

Unlike Swords, Axes, and Shovels, Maces are not made of standard refined ores, like Iron, Gold, or Diamond. Every Mace has the same durability since there are no variations to the item.

The Mace's special abilitiy is to deal more damage when you hit an enemy after falling a certain number of blocks. For example, if you drop around 1.5 blocks from your house in to hit a nearby Creeper, you will deal 18 damage instead of the standard 6.
