Marvel’s Midnight Suns will reportedly be free on Epic Games Store next week

Next week’s free Epic Games Store title has seemingly been revealed ahead of its official announcement.

Writing on Dealabs, ever-reliable dataminer billbil-kun claimed Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be free to download from Epic’s PC marketplace from June 6-13.

The super hero tactical RPG, which was developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K, was critically acclaimed but underperformed commercially following its release in December 2022.

Rather than revealing upcoming giveaways a week in advance like it normally does, Epic is currently giving away “mystery” games over the course of the Epic Games Store Mega Sale.

The promotion, which is running for four weeks until June 13, kicked off with Dragon Age Inquisition. It was followed by Farming Simulator 22, while Chivalry 2 is currently free to download until June 6.

VGC’s five-star Marvel’s Midnight Suns review praised the game’s writing, characters, varied play-styles and generous campaign.

“Marvel’s Midnight Suns combines addictive, deep strategy gameplay with a cast of characters that make the moments outside of the action just as rich and enjoyable as those in it,” it reads.

“A lengthy campaign packed with missions to go on and relationships to form with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes make Marvel’s Midnights Suns a modern strategy classic and one of 2022’s biggest surprises.”

Amazon recently confirmed the next wave of games set to be offered to Prime members at no extra charge. Players will be able to claim eight titles in June, including Star Wars Battlefront II (Classic) and Weird West Definitive Edition.
