[Updated: Epic Statement] Major Epic Leak Hints at Unannounced Games Coming to Epic Games Store

[Update] After publishing our story, we received a statement from Epic on this matter (via an Epic PR agency):

“We released an update tonight so third-party tools can’t surface any new unpublished product titles from the Epic Games Store catalog.”

[Original story] A major Epic leak might hint at plenty of unannounced games coming to the Epic Games Store, including titles from major publishers.

Remember the NVIDIA GeForce Now leak from some years ago? Numerous high-profile titles were included in that leak, including former exclusives from Nintendo, Microsoft, and Nintendo. Fast forward three years, and we might now have another massive leak via EpicDB - a database project for the Epic Games Store. Interestingly enough, the host of the database now appears to be down, and the page can't be accessed. As spotted by ResetEra user 'MondoMega' yesterday, the database apparently included plenty of details from yet-to-be-published games from a variety of publishers, including major ones such as Bethesda, Sega, Square Enix, Rockstar, but also PlayStation and Microsoft.

Although the NVIDIA GeForce Now leak included actual titles, this new leak includes mostly codenames for upcoming games. As such, it's quite hard to link a particular codename to a specified game, but on Reddit, several users have gone a long way to try and find matches for the codenames. Notable titles on the recently updated list include The Last of Us Part II, as well as BioShock 4, possibly an Uncharted title, Red Dead Redemption 1, Rise of the Ronin (could also be Ghost of Tsushima), and many more. It should be noted, that the leak also includes now-cancelled games. Still, it's an interesting find, and we're pretty sure that it will be worth the read. We've included a part of the list below:
