How To Get Tandemaus In Pokémon GO: Evolution & Shiny Availability

Tandemaus is finally making its long-awaited debut, arriving alongside its evolution Maushold. This adorable Normal-type creature first appeared in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Paldea region, but you'll now be able to catch it on your mobile device. True to its tiny size, Tandemaus isn't going to be easy to find, as there's a specific method you'll need to use to encounter it.

Known as the Couple Pokémon in the Pokedex, Tandemaus is actually two separate mouse-like creatures who work together in battle. When Tandemaus evolves into Maushold, the Pokémon gains one or two extra mice in its family. To begin a Party Play session, tap on your avatar's icon from the map screen, then scroll across to the Party tab.

During the Ultra Unlock: Better Together event, which runs from July 17 to July 22, 2024, you'll also be able to encounter Tandemaus as a reward for completing free Timed Research. Additionally, it will be available as a reward for completing event-themed Field Research tasks. You can obtain these by spinning PokeStops throughout the Ultra Unlock: Better Together event.

If you don't have room for any more Field Research tasks in, you can always delete some existing ones by going to your Field Research list and tapping the little trash can icon next to them.

Right now, it doesn't seem that Tandemaus will be available to encounter as a regular wild spawn in, which means it could be quite difficult to obtain for anyone who doesn't have local
