How To Evolve Lampent Into Chandelure In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Since being introduced to with DLC, there is only one way to evolve Lampent into Chandelure. Along with their base form, Litwick, these make for a unique Fire and Ghost-type line of Pocket Monsters. Litwick evolves into Lampent at Level 41, but one key item is necessary to pull off the final evolution.

Introducing 100 new & returning Pokémon in DLC, Lampent is just one of the many creatures to catch in Kitakami. For any players who wish to complete their Kitakami Pokédex, finding out how this Chandelure evolution trick is almost essential. However, there is an alternative way to obtain the Luring Pokémon for those who get lucky. This final form is nowhere near as powerful as the Legendary & Mythical Pokémon in , but it will be worth having in your collection.

Tyrogue has three different evolutions in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Indigo Disk DLC, and which one you get depends on your Pokémon's stats.

Like other games in the series, the only way to evolve Lampent into Chandelure in is by using a Dusk Stone. Select a stone from your bag, choose a Lampent in your party, and its evolution will instantly occur. If you don't have one already, these stones can be obtained in four ways in outside of random item drops.

The quickest location to find a Dusk Stone in is right behind the Montenevera gym, as marked in the images above. A second way is going to the marked location in West Province (Area Three) by a mountainside. Thirdly, a Dusk Stone will be rewarded to any player who has caught 130 Pokémon in their Paldea Pokédex.

Watch for the sparkling items on the ground while you're exploring. If you're lucky, a Dusk Stone can be one of the random item drops to find.

Players who have already used their Dusk Stones or cannot quickly get another can still catch one in 5 and 6-Star Tera Raid battles in Kitakami.
