How To Cure Dragonsplague In Dragon’s Dogma 2
The deadly disease known as Dragonsplague in can bring devastating calamity if you don't find a cure for the Pawns who contract this illness. Your allies who gain this affliction are a risk to themselves and every other Pawn who could become infected. Recognizing the symptoms of Dragonsplague early can be the key to avoiding the ruination of entire settlements during your adventure.
Dragonsplague is something mentioned the first time you interact with any Pawn in . This warning tells you that any Pawn can mysteriously contract the disease out of nowhere, to the point where it is unrecognizable even while checking the Status of that NPC. However, the consequences of Dragonsplague are never mentioned, with a being the only effect of the illness' persistence.
The Dragonsplague disease can only be contracted by Pawn allies and is shown through glowing red eyes on characters who've become infected. Your Arisen character is unable to get Dragonsplague, but any Pawn you recruit to your party has a chance to grow ill. Some early signs besides the red eyes might be coughing, spitting, or the Pawn having intense migraines when standing idle.
Be careful not to diagnose Pawns with naturally red eyes as having Dragonsplauge. Some NPC creations recruited from The Rift are simply designed to have crimson pupils or features that may resemble the disease's progression.
An easy solution to a Pawn's Dragonsplague is to dismiss them from your group, even if you are not certain whether they have the disease or not. It's better to be safe than sorry, especially when you have the chance to avoid Dragonsplague in entirely. This is not a cure to the problem though, as some of your other Pawns may have been infected even if you dismissed the culprit NPC ahead of time.
Unfortunately, there are no known cures for Dragonsplague besides killing the Pawn who has it before it can spread to other allies in. Another solution is to allow an infected Pawn to pass the disease on to someone else. This
