Honkai: Star Rail 2.1 May Add Its Most Aggressive Healer Yet

New 2.1 leaks are hinting at what may be the most aggressive healer in the game so far if his rumored gameplay kit is to be believed. While the turn-based RPG is in Version 2.0 celebrating the release of Penacony and the start of its second year of content, the game moves toward the next update, which should commemorate its first anniversary. Three playable characters have already been confirmed for the upcoming patch, and one of them seems to be a particularly aggressive character type in .

Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher are the new playable heroes being added with Version 2.1. Acheron is a 5-star Nihility character, while Aventurine is a 5-star Preservation unit. Gallagher, on the other hand, is a 4-star Abundance character and, according to leaks obtained by Dimbreath and posted by a user on Reddit, he will operate as a fairly aggressive healer. The differentiating aspect of his rumored kit is that Gallagher incentivizes the rest of his party to take the offense to heal them, whereas other healers in tend to wait for their teammates to be injured.

As seen in his leaked gameplay kit, Gallagher does heal allies actively through his Skill, much like most healers in the game. However, the 4-star Fire unit has a secondary healing mechanic that should be put into play more frequently. By using his Ultimate, Gallagher inflicts a status called Besotted onto all opponents, an effect that lasts two turns. This move also deals Fire DMG and transforms his Basic ATK into Nectar Blitz. The healing of allies is triggered through the Besotted effect via the description of his Talent in 2.1 leaks.

The Besotted effect will increase the Break DMG received by opponents but, most importantly, every time an enemy afflicted by the status is attacked by an ally, the attacker will have a portion of his HP restored.
