Honkai: Star Rail Gameplay Leak Shows Acheron and Aventurine Synergy With Sparkle
A new leak for Honkai: Star Rail has revealed gameplay footage of the upcoming five-star characters, Acheron and Aventurine, who are expected to join the roster in update 2.1. They won't be the only additions to the game, as HoYoverse has confirmed the arrival of an additional four-star unit named Gallagher.
Since its official release in April 2023, Honkai: Star Rail has been consistently updating its playable roster with each new update. The current version, 2.0, introduced three new characters: Black Swan, Misha, and Sparkle. The first two were featured on the first limited banner, while Sparkle is currently available on the phase 2 banner for update 2.0.
Over the past few months, numerous leaks have revealed details about the three upcoming characters: Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher. A new post on the Honkai Star Rail Leaks subreddit has showcased gameplay footage, demonstrating how Acheron performs in the same team composition as the new five-star character Sparkle. Acheron is expected to be a five-star DPS character in Honkai: Star Rail, which means players will need to support her with a strong lineup. Her kit focuses on dealing with massive amounts of AoE damage. The gameplay leak shows that Sparkle has great synergy with Acheron, and many players claim they do not regret pulling for her, especially since they plan to add Acheron to their roster as well.
According to previous leaks, Acheron's kit will focus on applying debuffs and a special flower-stacking system that will have various effects. While Sparkle might be a good choice, some comments have suggested that characters like Bronya, Jiaoqiu, and Hanya might work even better with her kit.
Even though she has already appeared in Honkai: Star Rail's main storyline, there is not much official information about Acheron. The game has introduced her as a member of the Galaxy Rangers, a group of travelers who wander through the cosmos to uphold justice.
