Hilarious Starfield Clip Shows What Happens When a Ship Lands in Water

Starfield's expansive world never ceases to amaze fans, and one curious player was stunned wehn they found out what happens when a ship lands on water. As is the case with most Bethesda games, Starfield is synonymous with some really interesting bugs and features, but this one is by far one of the most hilarious of them all.

Starfield does give players an option to swim in the game, although it doesn't hold much value. Players can only swim in areas where the water is deep enough, and the feature offers nothing beyond being a mere traversal mechanic. It is a common sentiment in the community that the game's underwater exploration was an opportunity that was overlooked, considering that a comparable feature in Fallout 4 was widely acclaimed by the fan base. Still, players have discovered some clever ways to go underwater in Starfield, and that has led to an interesting discovery.

In a post on the Starfield subreddit, user HEARTSOFSPACE highlights what actually happens within a ship that lands on water. The funny video showcases the characters trying to swim within the confines of the ship itself. On the other hand, some were more focused on players swimming under the water, with responses clarifying that it is only possible on PC and can be done by typing «tcl» on the Starfield console, which disables collision detection and allows players to go anywhere in the game. It is crucial to note that if players are underwater for too long, they will end up dying.

While some fans have reiterated that underwater exploration
