Helldivers 2 Update Adds Player's Most Requested Feature

players have once again been blessed as developer Arrowhead Studio rolls out a patch that includes one of the game's most requested features alongside some other special treats. Upon its launch, the community immediately began to question how long it would take the average user to reach the maximum player level given that Boosters and mission difficulty modes are locked behind personal progression. While the level cap used to be 50, developer Arrowhead Studios has listened to feedback and made this limit significantly larger.

Posted on Steam, Arrowhead confirmed that Patch 01.000.200 has increased the maximum Player Level cap from 50 up to 150 meaning Helldivers will now need to earn plenty more XP if they want to be in the top bracket of players. With the boosted Level Cap comes more titles to earn as members of the community are already impressing with new ranks like Fleet Admiral. Ever since players began hitting the Level Cap of 50, the community has requested that more tiers be added to continue that sense of progression; for months it's been one of the most requested features.

Much like the previously added Flame Tornadoes, the 01.000.200 Patch also brings with it some new environmental hazards in the form of Blizzards and Sandstorms. While these threats can only be found on desert or ice worlds, their presence will make missions significantly tough as they both impair movement and reduce visibility, meaning enemies will be able to launch surprise attacks more easily. They likely won't be as game-changing as the Meteor Showers, but they'll definitely add a new level of difficulty to a standard mission.

While the increased Level Cap and environmental threats are the major draws of Patch 01.000.200, the update does include a plethora of small adjustments such as balancing the "Retrieve Essential Personnel" mission to require fewer civilians on higher difficulties. Several weapons have also been tweaked, including the Anti-Material Rifle which is now 30% more
