This issue was preventing players from unlocking difficulties normally; however, the Helldivers 2 developer was able to rectify it through a manual progression fix. Helldivers 2 is a cooperative third-person shooter game developed by Arrowhead Game Studios. Players have to engage with up to four players, selecting missions from the Galactic Map to progress through the Galactic War.
