Genshin Impact 4.6: Should You Pull For Wanderer Or Baizhu (Pros & Cons)

Having to choose to pull for Wanderer or Baizhu in 4.6 can be tough, especially when considering the two characters can provide significant benefits to players' team comps – even if they exercise fairly different roles in parties. Both characters have been available in the game for quite some time, with Wanderer arriving as a playable unit in Version 3.3 and Baizhu making his debut in Version 3.6. Both of these characters in 4.6 banners have many pros, though they also have some cons that should be considered by players before making a decision.

Wanderer is a 5-star Anemo character who uses a catalyst in combat, which allows him to deal consistent Anemo DMG with his Basic and Charged Attacks. In team comps, he often operates as the main DPS, carrying the responsibility of dealing the largest amount of damage to opponents. Baizhu, on the other hand, is mostly a support unit. The 5-star Dendro character also employs a catalyst, allowing him to easily apply Dendro on enemies even when his Skill or Burst are not available. These two characters are considered top-tier units, even if they have their flaws.

With the end of Phase 1 banners in Version 4.6 that featured Arlecchino and Lyney in , Phase 2 banners enter the gacha system and bring Wanderer, Baizhu, and their respective 5-star signature weapons into rotation. Phase 2 banners in Version 4.6 start on May 15 and last until June 4 – each Phase in the banner system lasts three weeks, composing the six-week schedule that the game regularly follows. The only chance the Wanderer and Baizhu banners will be extended beyond that date is if there are any delays to the content planned for Version 4.7.

The game has not suffered a delay in content since Version 2.7, which indicates its development is following a steady course as of late.

As was previously mentioned, Wanderer
