Galaxy Tab S10+, Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra Scheduled To Enter Production In August, But Notable Analyst Has Not Heard About Any Plans For The Base Version

Samsung is preparing to launch its flagship tablet series in the fourth quarter of this year, with an analyst stating that two models, the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, will enter production in August. What is strange about the latest update is that there is no mention of the base version from the panel procurement or suppliers side, indicating that the Korean giant is ready to introduce a drastic change to its lineup. This is not the first time that Samsung has been rumored to phase out the base model in favor of introducing two bigger ones, as it will help the company reduce its costs drastically.

Expected launch month of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is October, claims analyst

As reported by Ross Young, founder and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), both the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra will enter production in August and are expected to launch sometime in October. On X, one member immediately noticed that the analyst did not mention the base Galaxy Tab S10 version, so Young pointed out that there was no information surrounding this slate’s panel or any other production rumor. Looking at Young’s pristine track record, it is safe to assume that Samsung will not launch the smaller tablet as it aims to focus more on the bigger models.

Financially, it makes little sense to continue investing millions in the mass production of a tablet that will barely sell enough for Samsung to recoup the money that it put up front. Instead, it can focus its attention and resources on the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra to deliver a significantly improved experience
