Fractured Online Details Big Changes Coming, With Primal Energy and Potions in Endgame Changer Update

Fractured Online’s Endgame Changer update is fast approaching, and the team is previewing some more of the features on the way. This time, get a look at Primal Energy and Potions in a new video.

Primal Energy is integral to the game’s lore, and will be able to harvest some from every monster you defeat. This represents is the essence of the god Elysium and is part of all the living beings in the universe. previously, you could only Harvest this energy from random events and use it to open the star gates to travel, but now it will be everywhere.  Effectively, it's almost like an alternate currency to gold and has distinct practical uses too.

There are four separate items with varying power levels: residue, dust, shards, and crystals. You can even convert each of these energy items into the next more powerful version in the magic shop. What you will get when you slay a monster depends on the difficulty and challenge rating of the creature. However, the most powerful form of Primal Energy are crystals and you can only get those from loot drops from bosses (known as Legends) or specific event drops. Dynamight will have more details on those special events later.

True during the day, but at night, you can get Primal energy in the form of ghosts, and these will require a different strategy to engage and defeat. You won’t get normal loot drops or learn skills from ghosts, but they will be a rich source of Primal Energy. 

Potions are also going to change fractured online. These are out of combat consumables that have enduring bonuses and effects.You make them from extracts and Primal Energy, emphasizing how important to the overall gameplay experience Primal Energy will be. Every potion also has a penalty in the form of a toxicity cost shown to you in a new interface. This means that you'll have to strategize carefully because toxicity limits the potions you can use.
