Fractured Online Steam Free Weekend and Founders' Packs Discounts Begin This Thursday

Fractured Online is holding its first Steam free weekend since the Early Access relaunch, along with a special discount on founders’ packs.

The free weekend will start on Thursday, March 7th at 4pm UTC / 11am ET and run through Monday, March 11th at 11am UTC/6am ET. You can choose to play through Steam or download the standalone launcher by signing up on the game’s official site. You’ll have access to the game as it is in the same Early Access build others are playing through, including all updates up through the recent huge Endgame Changer patch.

Dynamight Studios is also going to offer a special discount on the purchase of Founders’ packs. The discount will vary depending on the original price of the packs. For an Adept Founder Pack, which offers access to the game, the discount will be 30% off. For other packs, which continue to remain available, the discount will be 15-20%. 

The free weekend and discount on packs also comes at a time when the team continues to be transparent about their financial status as an independent studio that is now developing and self-publishing their game. After an agreed upon end to their previous deal with Gamigo, the team needs to rely on the community for word of mouth and support via pack purchases. 

The sale on founders’ packs will continue past the Steam free weekend, and the team is also bringing back their campaign to “Spread The Word & Win A Key”. Those who spread the word can submit screenshots of their interactions and be entered to potentially get a full access key. Spreading the word about the free weekend is also going to count.
