Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC Release Date Leaks Ahead of New Gameplay Trailer

Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC will possibly be released on June 21, according to a well-known and reliable leaker. This leak comes shortly after Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced that Elden Ring's DLC would get a proper gameplay reveal on February 21 at 7am PST/10am EST.

As many fans know, Elden Ring is nearing two years since its release in February 2022 and one year since the DLC's announcement in February 2023. This led many fans to believe that news would come this month, but it was hard to say given the game's barebones marketing scheme. While it went from 0 to 100 really fast, the anticipation rose just as quickly, and it could be a very busy time for the community between this reveal and the purported release date.

The date of June 21 comes from Dealabs' Billbil-kun, who has reliably leaked details regarding PS Plus, Xbox Game Pass, Epic Games Store, and more in the past. That doesn't mean fans shouldn't take this information with a grain of salt, but if there's any leaker who has earned the benefit of the doubt, it's Billbil-kun. However, it's worth noting that Billbil-kun isn't entirely confident about this release date, but they deduced this information because new editions of the game are set to release on that date, according to their report. They found information indicating a Game of the Year Edition of Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree DLC included, is set to release on June 21, while a Collector's Edition for Shadow of the Erdtree drops on that same date. Pinpointing that date as its actual release date alongside these new editions is not far-fetched.

According to Billbil-kun, the GOTY edition is priced at 79.99 euros and the Collector's Edition at 259.99 euros. This translates, roughly, to $86.47 and $281.05 USD, likely putting these prices around $89.99 and $299. Of course, fans will be able to purchase the DLC independent of these editions as well. Billbil-kun couldn't find what comes in this Collector's Edition either, although it
