Elden Ring Fans Hope 1 New Monster from the DLC is Friendly

Elden Ring Shadow of Erdtree DLC's trailer has managed to build up the right amount of hype with tons of surprises, and amid that, fans want one of the monsters showcased to be friendly. While it might sound like quite an unusual request by Elden Ring players, the friendly NPCs in the Soulsborne genre always grab a lot of attention considering how unforgiving the rest of the game's world is.

After months of waiting, fans finally received a trailer forElden Ring's Shadow of Erdtree DLC. The trailer introduced new characters such as Messmer the Impaler, giving fans an enthralling overview of what the new region, The Land of Shadow, has in store for them. One of the most notable aspects of the trailer was the introduction of new mechanics in the form of hand-to-hand combat, which reminded players of Dark Soul 2's memorable Bone Fist. While many were focused on the significant aspects of the reveal, a few fans have spotted a small-but-adorable detail.

As evident from several posts on the Elden Ring subreddit, the community seems to have developed a liking for Elden Ring's new monster, which kind of resembles a worm. In one such post, a player highlights that the only way Miyazaki could disappoint them was if the monster was not friendly.
